Maven is seeking a full-time Engineer to assist with our ever-growing workload and team in the Bay of Plenty. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required.
Working closely with our Senior Engineers you will be responsible for preparing drawings in accordance with relevant standards and, where necessary, provide information to draughting staff to produce ‘finished’ drawings/plans etc. Performing engineering calculations, analysis, and design; produce engineering reports and plans. Preparation of tender documents and assist with the assessment of tenders.
Your role will also include site investigations, field tests etc and report findings and close liaison with the Team Leader, Managers and Directors on job progress and particularly any indications that deadlines/targets might not be achieved.
The right candidate will be self-motivated, have good communication skills and be able to self-manage.

Requirements:
· Relevant tertiary education (BE, NZDE, BEngtech).
· 2+ years’ experience in the Civil Engineering Industry.
· Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D/12D.
· Understanding construction contracts specifically NZS3910
· A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
· A confident/ professional approach whilst working onsite.
· Comfortable working out on site conducting inspections of work and resolution of issues.
