As a Civil Engineer you will be managing your own projects from initial feasibility / concept through to detailed design, tendering, construction and practical completion, including client and contractor interaction. With solid experience in designing in Civil 3D you’ll be able to hit the ground running on one of our substantial projects.
What we are looking for:
- A relevant tertiary education (BE, NZDE, BEngtech)
- A minimum of 3 years’ previous experience
- Proven design capabilities using Civil 3D & AutoCAD
- Proficiency in flood modelling (HEC-RAS) and stormwater design preferred
- Understanding construction contracts specifically NZS3910
- Comfortable working on-site conducting inspections and managing contractors
- A high standard of oral and written communication skills
- A confident/professional approach whilst dealing with clients
