We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer with strong land development experience to join our Matamata team. With an increase in workload and some exciting project work in the pipeline, we have an increasing need to grow our Civils team!
Working closely with Maven’s industry experts, you will play a key role delivering complex engineering projects, providing technical leadership and supporting the development of junior engineers. Key Focus & Responsibilities:
- Lead civil design projects in land development and subdivisions
- Prepare technical reports, designs, and specifications
- Work closely with councils, clients, and project stakeholders
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance within the team

What we’re after:
- Relevant tertiary education (BE (Civil), or equivalent)
- 7+ years’ New Zealand experience (Land Development experience is required)
- CPEng (or working towards) desirable but not essential
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D/12D
- Good knowledge of NZ standards
- Confident communicator with initiative and a solution-driven mindset
